On a difficult track Cresselly managed to get the better of the draw against newly promoted Llangwm.

The first team are going to be spending the fine money collected this season away to Llangwm this Saturday.
  
Here is all of the information that each player will need to know.
Fancy Dress - The theme is Mr Men t-shirt and marigold gloves (from tesco). Failure to dress up will result in an automatic £10 to go into the kitty for the night.
Bus - A bus will be booked by our scorer (Lois). We are undecided on whether we will travel up on the bus, but the bus will take us back and to your homes (within reason). A tip for the driver will be required, approx £3/£4 each.

Cresselly 201 for 9 beat St Ishmaels 86 all out
Cresselly stood up and showed their intention to challenge for the league title by comprehensively beating champions and Harrison Allen winners St Ishmaels at Home.
Cresselly lost the toss and were put into bat on a track that looked as if it would favour the bowlers. Cresselly welcomed back Julian Arthur and part-time model Huw Neale in a game that Cresselly had to win to stand a chance of winning the league.

Close finish for Ladies…
Cresselly played Burton this Tuesday (24/06/08) for the first time this season on a wet and miserable night on home turf. Cresselly batted first and although scored 86 off some very accurate Burton Bowling, did not get as much runs as they should have. Lucy Johnson topped the scores with 25 (Retired), supported by Rachael Lord(atron) with a fast 19 not out.

Captain’s Performance ensures great comeback for Cresselly Ladies!
After 10 overs of the first innings against Llangwm, Cresselly ladies had 34 runs for 5 wickets. The quick fall of wickets unsteadied Cresselly and the outlook of the game did not look good. Nevertheless, in the second half of the innings, Cresselly triumphed with Captain Lois Hywlet-Dyer scoring 25, supported by vice captain Louisa Cole (12) boosting the score to 91 for 6 off 20 overs. The pair had a partnership of 41.
